Comment:
When school ordered me to read this book, I had thought that just my vacation would be harder and I recognized this book as just a nuisance in my life. However the opinion of this book is...This book was absolutely awesome!!! During the time of reading this book, I always envied the author because he has a nice teacher. Morrie was my ideal teacher. He had special interest in every student. And his character was also tempting. He was very calm, and positive. I like that.XD

I think I read this book very smoothly.(For not words... I had to live with english dictionary during all the time I read this book;;) The form of this book was very well organized. 15 and other short stories comprise of this book. So diffrently with the Blindness, I don't have to suffer from oppress of the huge number of texts. At this view, I express my thankful mind to the author, again.

I learned lots of things in Morrie's attitude about death. I decided that at least, I won't lose my reason because of worry about my death. I will try to love mamy things as possible as I can. Morrie really loved people until at the end. He had to suffer from fear of Lou Gehrig's disease, but he didn't quit expressing love.

One day, the author asked Morrie how does he think about the story of job in bible. Maybe he just want to listen the words that after Morrie solve the problem of his faith, he can have healthy body again. However, Morrie just said that the God overdid it. This part was very touching and made me think about so much things like Morrie doesn't want to prolong his deadline but I can't get clear answer myself. In my opinion, death will call Morrie again, so Morrie didn't say he could alive after he solve the faith problem. Morrie doesn't want make Mitch feel sadness again like now.

This book made me think about many things, and gave me many kilograms of strong impression. Because of this book, I decided that I will live like Morrie, and give every people good memories with me. Then, who knows?? When my turn to die, some people will come to my home to meet me periodically. And we will have many talk, but at that time, I will say more than that people. Then after I die, it will be the turn of that people say to me, and I will listen them. I will find a teacher resembles Morrie, and make good memories. Ha, I've got a new goal of my student life.

Reflection
When I first read this book, I was very embarrassed because I should find almost all of the words on the text. The translator had said that the one who has level of third grade student of middle school's English should read the book smoothly.
However, whether I am worse than my juniors, there were many words that I saw them first time after I was born. You lied me!!! Park Jong Seo!!! I am so called first grade in English words, but it was enough to make feel the top of English words endangered.
Anyway, I think Adrian mole's diary is filled up with all trivial situations without some big events like split of his parents out. All he said every day and day was about acne, wet dreams, Pandora, Berry, or other trivial things.
Also I thought that the story line is so dark, miserable, and harsh. Everything Adrian try was spoiled. Including being almost stolen his first love by his best friend, Nigel(retake after a little bit, anyway) or extorted his money to classmate…, I will skip other more tragic things because I don't want to fill up my book report with tragedies.
Many students blamed after reading this book because it is so hard to get what is the main story line is.(Further more, it was extremely harsh as a story of a 14 years old student.) The worse thing is a fact that teachers made questions from this book at final exam.
And I was the one who agreed with their opinion, at first. So many obscene situations or descriptions helped me to organize bad opinion about this book. Especially, the situation that his father and mother, each person got their own lover exclude themselves made me doubt this book about this is real for kids.(And I don't like he called him an intellectual himself.)
However, many descriptions and expressions with humor made me smile during reading this book and eventually it changed my sight of looking this book.(I like humor like this type) In positive sight, one and one, each story was so good. Although his parents made decision to divorce, he never gave up using interesting expressions. I have a question that he is really an ordinary person.
I can feel love of family throughout this book, too. The scene that grandmother scolded at Berry Kent and take Adrian's money back was a little impressive. Also, although the parents of Adrian had had a big fight, they reunify, finally. I'm really sorry for the father being a DISABLED.(This fact was very shocking.)
Even at the dark scene, his family was pretty interesting to me. I don't know why but they keep making me smile. Like, after mother leaved the house, Adrian wore red socks, which was banned in school, because of just despair. However, he scolded by headmaster, and he said that to his father. His father got angry and give him a call(of course father was not rational), and have an argument, roughly. That situation was spreaded, and Adrian became a hero for students' right. All this process is so funny because he wore red socks because of just he was crazy for a while. However, he could get score from Pandora.
This book expressed an adolescent's mind very well with funny and fresh sentences(like intellectual poet, or story about sending two poems to BBC but being refused all two times, more thing is that the poems' construction. They give us nothing, just laugh.). Many people said that this book is not so good, but in slightly different sight, this book is very good. It is a love story, but has many factors for comedy. I like this type of things, so this book was suitable to me. Of course there are some crisis but even they are funny, and eventually, the story ends with a happy ending. I like happy things. If I get some time, I'll read the next diary, too. However, no more diary about acne please.

Global warming

These days, global warming is getting more attention as a serious problem. According to an anonymous information printed for BIHS 1st grade students, Korean penisula's average temprature has rosen rapidly from 1912. If we go in this pace untill 22C, our Korea would be a tropical country. Now, all we need to do is thinking about solutions to this problem and do them.
There are many solutions for this problem around us. First of all, we should reduce our frequency of using cars. I'm really sorry for taxi drivers, but for saving our Earth, we shuld reduce the number of it. We can use bicycles or public transfortation instead.
Secondly, we should try to reduce the amount of CO2 emition. Korea's CO2 emition is 10th in the world. However, country size is very lower than that result. This means we emit much more CO2 and ruin the environment of our beautiful world than other larger countries which couldn't get the rank above ten. There are many ways to reduce CO2 around us. For example, turn off electric home appliances when you don't use or reduce, reuse, recycle as many as you can.

Reducing soaring rate of average temprature is very important issue. If we can't solve this problem, it can be written apple tree in textbook as an extinct plant in 22th century. Our ancestors leaved the earth safely to us, so we should leave the earth safely to our offsprings, too. Although it is a little annoying to do, if we try to prevent increasing temprature of earth from very trivial things, we can save our earth and bequeath the earth as a good place to live.

Summary- Green building menas a building which consist of materials that have no damage on environment. These days, a number of people try to build these green buildings to save energy and water.The buildings which are facing South and have large windows can accept huge amount of sun light. It makes it possible not only to get heat but also to store them in solar cells and use as aeletricity. And extra energy are be used in other buildings' other systems.Garden on roof can block much more sun light than ordinary roof, and it makes the building cool inside. Also in winter, plants and soil block the heat's escaping.Actually, there is not much water that is able to be drank. So green building use fresh water and they reuse it. For an example, a new library in Santa Monica, California store rain drops and use them as plants' water or toilets' water.Trees in the world are not enough because of deforestaion. So green building use bamboo. Bamboo is a grass, so it grows far faster than other trees. Green building also save our forest.Old thrown away things are able to be used as parts of green buildings as well as environmental sources.There are not so many green buildings now in cities, but many people support them building them. So the number of this type of buildings are increasing. The city would be more healthier and greener.

Comment-It was good for me reading this chapter because I can get hope about our future energy and city. It is a S.F story but actually the green system is installed step by step. If we build green buildings by the way this book said, we can leave much better future for our offsprings. I feel very very good.

Should we use budget to keep cultural heritages or social welfare?

Because of many kinds of environmental problems, many cultural heritages are endangered. Also by this, some people say that we should use more budget to keep them safe from disasters, and others say that it would be better if we use the budget for the homeless. In my opinion, keeping cultural heritages are more important. Let's read why I write like this.
First of all, cultural legacies are a piece of each countries' history. It has sprits and souls of the people who endeavored to make our country that we can live now. The expression of our respect, we should protect their achievements.
Secondly, though we use immensity money on saving the poor, if we divide that budget into 1/n(n is the population of the homeless), we can see only a little money they would get. It will only make the many kinds of taxes heavier, instead of saving poor people. Further more, the people who have lived with no working, won't think they should work. They will solve only their immediate problems, not try something hard to earn money.
For third reason, by money which was gotten from tour attractions, the country can use that money for other social problems as well as only for the homeless. We should there are many types of social problems in the world.
In short, I think using the budget for protecting cultural heritages is better than saving the poor. Every work needs money, and the ways we get money is more important than only the money.
